I really didn’t want to discuss the Carl’s Jr. Shooting by ELAC campus. I won’t comment much on the matter. I understand and respect both sides.
Erik Luna could’ve been anyone. Your best friend from 3rd grade, the neighbor down the street, your co-worker, your second cousin, or even your father.
I’m not sure if it’s because the scene of the incident is 10 minutes away from my house or maybe because he was a Hispanic bald male that was possibly under the influence of narcotics…but I couldn’t help but think that Erik Luna could’ve been my brother.
Saw my brother this morning walking in the rain. Every time I see him around, I’ll always wonder if it’ll be the last.
Remember, it could’ve been anyone you know.
